Clear Channel Outdoor – Director, National Marketing Solutions, 2013–Present

Develop unique client solutions for national advertisers that leverage out-of-home advertising to build brands. Manage marketing support for thirteen national sales executives who generate $400 million annual sales. Lead development of national marketing materials, including strategic positioning and go-to-market strategy. Participate in development of digital products and promotions. 

 

Freelance –  Brand Strategy Consulting, 2012 – Present

Various projects including:

 

  • Moderated an online focus group of 100 moms designed to spark product innovation for MeadWestvaco, and prepared top-line summary reports to the client. (Martin Agency)

  • Created an immersion day for Walmart executives based on primary research designed to bring middle-income moms’ needs to life. (Martin Agency)

  • Created an immersion day for Discovery Communications executives based on secondary research designed to inspire new programming for Millennial moms. (Martin Agency)

  • Developed a new game concept targeting the Virginia Lottery’s non-core audience, Millennials, who don’t believe in Lady Luck.

  • Branded and named Ashby, a Richmond, Virginia consignment boutique targeting teenage to twenty-something women looking for a place to develop their sense of “weekend style.”

VCU Brandcenter — Creative Brand Manager, 2011 – 2013

Earned a graduate degree in efficiency, keen business sense, interpersonal skills, client relationships, revenue management, strategic vision and the kitchen sink at the nation’s leading advertising program. Clients included: Coca-Cola, Oreo, JW Marriott, Hamilton Beach, Baby Jogger, Goodwill.

 

Sidley Austin LLP — Marketing Coordinator, 2010–2011 / Marketing Assistant, 2008–2010

Coordinated RFP response for one of the world’s largest law firms. Planned conferences and client events, brought in on or under budget. Managed a graphic design team.

Martha Stewart Weddings — Style Intern, Summer 2007
Brainstormed content for the Bride’s Guide blog. Sourced buttons and bows in the Fashion District, and assisted in styling photo shoots. Developed an understanding of hierarchy and roles within a fast-paced entertainment company.
